    Common Questions

    1. How do I use D-Mannose?

    We recommend one level teaspoon (3g) for acute use, or 1/2 teaspoon (1.5g) for maintenance daily and mix it with water or fruit juice.
    We've kept it as natural and organic as possible, without artificial flavours, additives, sweeteners or preservatives. As such, it doesn't dissolve completely like an instant drink, and that's normal.
    And because we're using organic cranberry powder, the taste, colour and aroma can vary from batch to batch.

    2. What does it taste like?

    It has a very mild, sweet taste with a hint of cranberry.

    3. What are the ingredients?

    D-Mannose, Organic Cranberry Powder, Organic Biofibre Prebiotic Inulin (No Nasties).
    Keep in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight.
    Do not exceed the recommended intake, and should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet.

    4. Can I take D-mannose if I'm Diabetic?

    D-Mannose has a lower impact on blood sugar levels compared to glucose and is less likely to cause significant blood sugar fluctuations.
    However we're not qualified to give medical advice and for specific health conditions do check with your GP first of all.

    5. Are there any side effects associated with D-Mannose?

    D-Mannose is generally well-tolerated, but some people may experience mild side effects such as bloating, loose stools, or diarrhoea.
    Taking a smaller amount and drinking more water during the day can help.

    6. How long will packet last me?

    The 30 serving packet is based on taking 1 full tsp a day for acute use.
    If you're taking it for maintenance, which is 1/2 tsp a day, a packet has 60 servings.

    7. Is it suitable for Vegans?

    Yes, it's vegan friendly.

    8. What's the shelf-life?

    The shelf life of D-Mannose Complex is 18 months from production date if your pouch is unopened and stored in a dry, cool environment, away from direct sunlight. There is a best before date printed on the back label.
    Once opened keep your D-Mannose Complex sealed in the pouch, or for ease of use you can store in an airtight jar or container and it can be stored in the cupboard.

      I've taken D-Mannose every morning since before the first lockdown (over two years). It followed a nasty bout of UTI that needed antibiotics to clear. I used to get UTI's three or four times a year. I haven't had one (fingers crossed here) since making D-Mannose a part of my morning routine. I wouldn't claim that it can clear up an existing UTI (I've always needed antibiotics for that), but it definitely does work for me as maintenance.

      It has worked wonders for me so far!! I actually can’t live without it. I kept getting cystitis infections every month or every few weeks for almost a year.... I decided to give d mannose a shot. I take a tea spoonful of the powder straight into my mouth and wash it down with some water. I find this works better rather than mixing it in a glass. I am glad to say it has kept cystitis at bay so far.

      I swear by this also. No more antibiotics that wreck your immune system & cause other issues aswell as causing antibiotic resistance rendering them ineffective & useless at alleviating or clearing future infections. D-Mannose is an absolute godsend & miracle completely life changing & if you suffer from water infections it massively improves quality of life. Will never take antibiotics again for water infections thanks to D-Mannose.... swear by it.

      I had 6 months of recurrent UTI infections 7 years ago, antibiotics worked for a bit and then it came back. I read about D Mannose and took a few months worth and I've never had one since. Before that I'd get 1 or 2 infections a year. Totally amazing!
